Are you happy? Really happy? Satisfied with your accomplishments? Content with your every day life? If not, perhaps you are not focusing on your God given strengths. You know you are in your “strength zone” when it “feels right”. Marcus Buckhingham helps you determine your strengths and how to focus on them in his new book called Find Your Strongest Life.
I am an information junkie, always reading, listening, watching, net surfing to find a better way. This book is a quick read, full of ah-ha moments and ideas, and is basically good “food for thought”.
We tend to focus on our weaknesses. How can we improve them? The idea is that we should concentrate on what we do best and keep that notion in our forethoughts. If we do this, then we will create a much stronger life for ourselves. Follow your gut….It seems like a very logical idea to me.
This book was written specifically for women, but I feel as if anyone can take away the points suggested here. In my opinion, this book did not “change my life”, but it did make me realize that I can try to focus on the areas of my life when I feel “charged and electrifying”.
The on line test offered is quick and offers several “roles” we were “born to play”. I’m a motivator and caretaker according to his book. Now, to find ways in my life where I can help others find & discover their strengths.
